Largemouth BassTechniqueBladed JigsSeasonSpring (Post-Spawn)StructureLedgesNed Rigs work amazing here, particularly 1/8oz with a zman trd craw in mudbug color. Also, wacky or T-rig senkos in a watermelon red color will get bit when the bite slows to a crawl. Swim jigs work well along the grass beds and pickerel grass. The larger bass typically suspend over slight ledges along main lake points here. Have had success with larger swimbaits as well, in particular a savage gear RTF 6” pulsetail trout along the ledge by the Loons nest. Average suspended depth for these bass is between 3-10’. These fish also tend to key on either junebug or anything with a red flash in it.
