WalleyeTechniqueMedium Diving Crankbaits (7'-12')SeasonSpring (Pre-Spawn)StructureOpen Water/BasinFound so open water roaming fish and was excited to catch this nice 22" walleye along with some crappie, white bass and a bonus +/_ 5# hybrid striper. Even the cold 38 deg. water didn't stop these fish from eating

WalleyeTechniqueTrolling Mid Depth (10-19')SeasonSpring (Pre-Spawn)StructureDamas of the end of March walleye have still not copleted the spawn season. A few males caught had milt actively spewing. Bite was not great but nice activity with a few bonus crappie, white bass and even a smallmouth shows that the fish are actively using the new warm water heated by rocks and wind at the dam. #9Berkley Flicker Minnnow was an ambitious target for a young walleye in 2nd pic.

White BassTechniqueVertical Jigging Deep (20'+)SeasonWinterStructureLedgesHad to try January open water fishing. I figured it would be slow but was pleasantly surprised by a 1/2 dozen of these 2 pounders. No boat battling when water and air temps are below 40:-)

Used Bomber Fat Free shad catch this one. Others caught using dipsey diver to get down to depth. Fish have to eat.. don't let the cold water scare you off.

WalleyeTechniqueTrolling Shallow (0-9')SeasonSpring (Post-Spawn)StructureHumpsTrolling all over the open water yielded plenty of nice crappie. I also hooked several walleye, one catfish, one smallmouth bass, several drum, white bass, and a wiper. We celebrated mother's day with a nice fish fry of crappie and walleye. Depth varied from 3' to almost 30 feet

White BassTechniqueTrolling Mid Depth (10-19')SeasonWinterStructureHumpsCovered a ton of water looking for fish. Everything was spread out and trolling seemed like a good option as the water had cooled of quite a bit in the last week. Didn't get a single bite from 7Am until about 3 PM, then I was able to get 3 whites in the 1-4 pound family on a Bone colored Flicker Shad (shown)
