We ended up catching a few decent fish on plastic worms later in the day. Our big fish was a smallie caught on a shallow flat with marabou jig.

I have been catching them flipping milfoil 7 to 10 foot of water on 4/0 VMC Tokyo Rig with a Green pumpkin Ville craw.

Hot day but overnight cold temps have been driving fish shallow. Found this one on the outer edge of a reed stand at last light just about as we were going to come in for the night.
