Long casts on a windy day around rock have been enticing smallmouth lately. With tulibee as forage, this color of jerkbait really matches the hatch. Bass are likely a mix of spawners and pre spawn at this water temp and given how this year has progressed with late ice off.

Very slow but smallies on beds still but plenty of largemouth as well

First trip to the lake. Largemouth were really biting on main lake humps unfortunately they were rather small. We ended up catching a few decent fish on plastic worms later in the day. Our big fish was a smallie caught on a shallow flat with marabou jig.
