4/11/21 Chatterbaits have been the go to for getting that reaction strike in the shallows. Water temps have been in the 58-61 degree area and clarity has been getting better making the bite tougher. I've been burning chatters through the growing lillies in 1-3 ft of water and it has been consistently producing 3-4 lb bass. been using white and crappie colored baits. Keep a fluke as a backup for those missed strikes and follow them up to pick up those missed fish. If they seem spooky switch to a darker color to make them search for it a bit.
