Largemouth BassTechniqueTexas Rigs (Worming)SeasonSummerStructureSubmerged VegetationGot out for about an hour today. Very warm with no breeze at all. Found a solid bite with the weightless Texas rigged senko. Work it slow!

Largemouth BassTechniqueBladed JigsSeasonSpring (Post-Spawn)StructureSubmerged VegetationBass weren't as active today. Caught a few pike in the mix as well. Weeds are getting thicker but I'm still successful pulling a chatterbait through them. Also had some success with a Ned rig today.

Largemouth BassTechniqueBladed JigsSeasonSpring (Post-Spawn)StructureSubmerged VegetationWarm party cloudy day. Bass were active and after faster moving baits. The jackhammer with blade minnow trailer came through as usual. Landed 5 fish over 3lb. 5 fish bag of 15lb 6oz. Not a bad day fishing from shore! Weeds are starting to get thick here but I was still able to work the chatterbait through. I'd bring some weedless options as well though as the weeds continue to come in thick.

Panfish / BluegillTechniqueBobbersSeasonSummerStructureDocksHigh seventies outside, very sunny day. Bass and Pike were few and far between but the bluegill were schooled up. Caught 35 or so on Berkley gulp and a very small hook. Loads of fun out in the kayak!

Largemouth BassTechniqueTexas Rigs (Worming)SeasonSpring (Spawn)StructureMatted GrassGot an hour in after work today. Very windy. Had a little action by using a weightless texas rigged trick stick. Throw on the edge of grass mats, twitch and let sink. Usually will get bit on the fall.

Largemouth BassTechniqueBladed JigsSeasonSpring (Spawn)StructureSubmerged VegetationSunny day and very warm. Slight breeze. Found many spots where the fish were piled up but it took effort to get them to strike. A bit later in the day, they turned on a little more and I caught a couple nice bass on the jackhammer (including the 3lb bass in the photo).

Northern PikeTechniqueBladed JigsSeasonFallStructureSubmerged VegetationI was hoping for a few bass after work but all I came across today were pike. Even they were pretty sparse with the water getting so cold. They were after the chatterbait.
Species
Largemouth BassTechniqueBladed JigsSeasonFallStructureSubmerged VegetationThe bite was pretty slow tonight. Most vegetation has died off. I got into a few pike earlier on. It wasn't until after dark that the bass turned on. Had the best luck slow rolling the jackhammer shallow along the bank.
