SpeciesLargemouth BassTechniqueBladed JigsSeasonFallStructureSubmerged VegetationAbsolutely crushed it here! Big fish on the day was 5lb. Had a 5 fish total of 21lb 4oz. Used a 3/8 oz green pumpkin Jackhammer with a Strike King Blade Minnow trailer. Vegetation had mostly died off. Bluebird sky. Fish were in shallow along the shoreline. What a blast to finish out the season!

Found some of the big girls tonight after work! Fish were super shallow. Slow rolled the chatterbait over whatever vegetation was left. They had the feed bag on. Fish in the photo is 5.1lb on the Rapala scale. Caught a couple over 4lb as well.

Tried different presentations but most fish were caught on the jackhammer. The ones caught came very shallow. Didn't exactly hammer them today, but it was a beautiful fall day to be out fishing!

It wasn't until after dark that the bass turned on. Had the best luck slow rolling the jackhammer shallow along the bank.

Would eventually get bit after aggravating the fish enough. The 3lb fish in the photo was a good fight on the spinning gear. 😉
