This outing was for 6/18/2025 and was our GreenHorn Wednesday Night Tournament for the week. The weather started out a bit wacky with a big pop-up thunderstorm delaying blastoff about 15 minutes. The wind and rain really picked up and was glad blast off was delayed. After the storm the weather was beautiful. Overall fishing was a bit slow for us without a ton of numbers, but caught good quality and brought home the WIN! We fished up shallow all night, primarily fishing docks and trying some frogging in the slop. I caught our kicker fish under a dock, which was big bass of the tournament, a 5 pounder! We culled maybe 1 time all night, but caught maybe 10 keepers, just happened that the ones in the livewell were bigger at the time.

Word on the water is Coon had a bad winter kill this year, that being said fishing was tough. I was able to get bites ripping a Square-bill through vegetation and flipping a heavy jig around holes in the milfoil.
