I took the win in the 6th IKFC tournament today. The key was to cover water. The fish were up very shallow. I was casting at the rock banks and working the bait over the tops of rocks. Many bites came after popping free from the rocks.

Crappie schooling around balls of shad, look for the birds, shad imitation crappie jig can be fished under a bobber to stay closer to the surface or without a bobber to fish closer to the bottom for bass and walleye
