Fishing the river on the north end. Grass is thinning with low night time temps and water clarity is improving. Fish slow early close to the bank Texas rigged stick baits in black and blue have been hot. When the sun is overhead still having success with Hybrid Hunter over submerged grass and wood. Keep a square bill handy with the grass thinning and bounce them off submerged stumps. Some monster fish still hanging around the wood.

Fish are scattered chasing bait in shallow water. Lake level is still 2ft low with water temps ranging from 46-52 degrees. Bite is slow with most fish caught on spinnerbaits and crankbaits close to laydowns and rock/rip rap.

Grass in the middle of the river still green and healthy. Numbers were great today but size was lacking. Boated about 30, hybrid hunter was absolute fire. We also through Ned rigs early and Texas rig stick baits in black and blue.
