Cove lake is where I learned to fish and every summer I break out the ultralight gear and go back to being a kid. 2 pound mono, a bobber, and simple little homemade flies is all I need. No boat, no electronics, nothing fancy. This is a great way to get a kid into fishing.It doesn't have to be atrificial flies either. Crickets, or any type of worm hooked a foot under a float will do the trick. The lake is so full of panfish, so anywhere you can get down to the water they'll be there.
