This was a multi species trip so we caught a fair amount of walleye, crappie, pike, and smallmouth bass. I enjoy keying into the smallmouth. Outside of live bait rigs, the keitech swimbait on a 1/4oz jig head did very well for smallmouth. Relatively slow retrieve with a series of twitches and pops off the rod. Beautiful area to get away and fish!

Use your Electronics to locate mid lake rock pile humps with fish on them. Vertical Jig the Rapala Jigging Rap on and around the hump. Use a short snapping jig stroke. I like to use a snap swivel at the bait and tie a 5 foot piece of mono to the fireline but you can use a small swivel to connect the line also. Check the last few feet of line often for nicks in your line an knots. Good Luck!
