One of my favorite fishing/campling trips in the BWCA. I lost count of how many 4-5 pound smallmouth we caught in a weeks time fishing crooked lake. Obviously brought limited tackle but we slammed them daily on the 4" Yamamoto Senko in 297 or watermelon moondust. Fish shallow around points and around lay downs. That place is a truly special place that I will always remember.
