The fish are on beds and ready for some tugging on your line. Caught a 2.25 lb today on a Big Bite Baits Fighting From in Tilapia Magic. Used a St Croix Victory rod paired with a Lew's BB1 Pro. I used a Trokar TK125 4/0 hook with an 1/8 Tungsten weight.

Clear water, overcast skies. Bass are roaming shallow water, sticking to the growing vegetation and structure. The first catch out of this body of water was on the Keitech Fat Impact in Bluegill Flash on a steady retrieve. The second hit came on a Zoom Super Fluke in Bluegill Flash, on a “Rip, Rip, Pause” retrieve. All fish were caught mid afternoon.
