The water level and water temps are falling and we are targeting largemouth bass that are chasing threadfin shad on shallow main lake flats and around creek mouths using a 1/2 ounce Strike King red eyed shad.

Catching both largemouth and smallmouth bass by targeting main lake rock bluff channel swing banks and points using a Rapala DT-10 crankbait in the 8 to 10ft range focusing on chunk rock transitions on the bluff and points. The DT-10 color that I chose today was caribbean shad due to the fact that the water color on the main lake had a slight stain to it due to recent rain events and the natural draw down of the lake.
