Caught them pretty good today on moving baits. Key areas had rock or early vegetation. The key technique was bottom contact with whatever presentation I was using. The slime/algae hasn’t come on strong yet, so that could be a factor relatively soon.

Hit the lake in the afternoon around 2 pm. I noticed most of the resident boats already gone from their docks and quite a few docks already removed from the water. Decided to try the chatter bite anyhow. Skipping and pitching docks and boat lifts. The bite was decent. I lost a few but that's fishing.

Had a blast today casting zman jackhammer 3/8 black and blue. Spooled up a new baitcaster with Sufix 832 hi viz neon green 20 lb test last night. Absolutely loved it! It handled the bass and pike on this lake no problem
