Bass have been slow but the big bite has still been on deeper rock piles and boulders throwing deep cranks. Bass were tucked more into the rocks this week following the cold front that brought water temps down 8 degrees from a week ago.

Bass were chasing shad around the lake. Best chances to catch size were on deeper rock piles around 15-20’. Caught an 8.24 for my biggest while crashing the 6xd into the rocks swimming with the wind deep to shallow.

Also caught a couple decent largemouth on 3/8 oz white and chartreuse jack hammer with swim bait trailer.

Fish were biting up shallow with the sun out to warm up the rocks. Fished main lake docks with boulders. Rolled the chatterbaits up and over the rocks slowly and got bit when falling through rocks.

It was sunny with highs over 100 and little to no wind. The water was stained throughout the lake but clearer on the south end. We spent the day throwing squarebills and chatterbaits around shallow dock posts on docks along rocky banks, focusing in 1-5 feet of water. We were able to catch a limit weighing 11.60 pounds doing this which put us in 23rd place out of 62 teams. Thank you all for reading and tight lines!

Caught several Bass up to 4lbs. Bouncing the bait off of the rocks. 12lb. Seaguar Invisx, Lews 6:1 Reel and Lews Crankbait Rod. Electronics not working. so no accurate water temp available. Important note: Be careful navigating Eagle Mountain right now ! Water extremely low and many boats running aground and tearing up Props an Lower Units. Be safe out there.
