Smallmouth BassTechniqueTubesSeasonSummerStructureRock PilePrefished East Canyon for the local Kayak Fishing Utah Trail, and found some decent fish at 10-15' around rock piles along points. Water temp was 69 degrees, and visibility was about 5'. Tournament day the water was at 72 degrees and I couldn't buy a bite with the tube. Eventually switched up to a drop shot with a Hazedong Shad and managed to put a few fish on the board.

The reservoir was crazy busy, and my kayak has been having issues, so I stayed close to shore. This is a steep sided reservoir, and casting into zones of 8-12' was producing lots of fish...though small. Caught 15 in about 2 hours between 10-13".
