It was a bit windy 5-10 mph, and the lake is crystal clear down more than 15'. Crappie were holding tight to large trees that sat in 10-20' of water. Jigging near the deeper ends produced fish, but it was necessary to weed through many aggressive sunfish and small bass to get to the target species.
