Largemouth BassTechniqueSwim JigsSeasonSummerStructureHumpsI made a long cast to the area between a hump and a point, letting the swim jig sink all the way to the bottom in about 10+ feet of water. Once it hit bottom, I pointed my rod tip down and slowly reeled it back toward where I was fishing from. A light wind was blowing straight down the lake, and I was casting with the wind. I was using a Dirty Jigs 1/2‑oz swim jig paired with a 5.5-inch Gambler Lures Big EZ swimbait trailer. That trailer gives the jig a great action, rocking the head side to side on the retrieve.
