They were swiping at the top water lures really hard, but weren’t committing. Any time I can get out by the water I’ll have a good time, fish or no fish!

This was a fun outing with my daughter, where we caught quite a few bass and bluegill. They were crushing topwater that day, and I even had some fun on a fly rod. Not only were they hitting the spook, but also crushing the Berkley popper and the Cornerstone Baits Big Swift. My daughter, age 5, caught some on a senko, bright pink, of course with her pink Zebco.

Fun night, but tough bite. Caught one on a chatterbait and another on a 10" worm. Popping the worm off the bottom and hit it on the fall.

A lot of fun catching bass on jigs and Texas-rigged 10" worms. Had a blast on a much needed afternoon getaway!

Top water very slow with only one fish (2lb). switched to worm and dt6 cranks. totals for the day (2 people) 24 bass all 2lb plus with a 3.2lb and a 4.2 lb

Great outing fishing for catfish, bass, and crappie. Caught some great bass on a 10" worm, perch on nightcrawler, and several crappie on a live minnow. Bite was tough this day and had to work for every bite.

Absolutely crushing the buzzbait this night. Had a lot of huge blow ups which kept me on my toes. Had a blast!
