Cast to the edge of a coontail mat right where it dropped into deeper water. She (the bass) swirled and engulfed the finesse spinnerbait just as hit it the water just like it was a topwater. After fighting her and trying to keep her from diving back into the coontail mat, finally got her to the boat and landed the big girl ... just over 24" and weighed 7.2 lbs (a little on the thin side); my PB largemouth! Caught several other bass up to about 3 lbs that day on the spinnerbait and a t-rigged 7" trick worm but to be honest, I barely remember those :)
