Capt Steve here, bluegill color swim jig was key today around Lilly pads. Half ounce swim jig paired with a gambler little easy. Isolated pads in the southeast part of the lake were key.

The fish are bunching up and we are locating numerous pods of fish more frequently. Early morning I’ve been starting bout with a jack hammer Chatterbait in Brett’s bluegill color and then moving to the 7.25 Croc o Gator COG worm in plum and June bug. These worms are the best straight tail worm I’ve used for these conditions. Fishing matted grass bed near cabals or ditches is key.
