TechniqueTexas Rigs (Worming)SeasonWinterStructureSubmerged VegetationThe Croc O Gator swamp swimmer and the COG worm are producing a lot of bites in and near hydrilla on flats in 2-4 ft of water. I’m focusing on the flats that’s are adjacent to deeper ditches.

TechniqueLipless CrankbaitsSeasonSummerStructureSubmerged VegetationShallow early deep grass lines as the day progresses. Early morning 2-5 foot around hydrilla beds has been great as of late. As the day progresses, yo yo the lipless crank bait aling deeper grass lines along ditches and man made canals. Hanging the bait in the grass and piping out had produced the bite more often than not.

TechniqueTexas Rigs (Worming)SeasonSummerStructureSubmerged VegetationThe fish are schooling around bait on the edge of deeper grass lines and points. The COG worm has been getting bit while Texas rigging it on a 1/16 oz epic tungsten with a spear point 5/0 hook. The deeper grass lines on the edges of the man made pits have been key areas for my clients. Fishing it slow almost dragging it like a caroling rig.

TechniqueTexas Rigs (Worming)SeasonWinterStructureSubmerged VegetationEast side of north lake fishing the COG worm Texas rigged on 3/16 ounce weight. Edge of hyacinth where deeper water is close by. Dragging not vertical pulling was key to more bites. Slower the presentation the better.
