Look for soft bottom as the fish are eating bugs. Fish just above the fish and try a cat and mouse approach, by using the keep away, just keep pulling it up and make them follow. I like to use braid with a short piece of mono with a small swivel attaching them or by tying the braid to the mono. If you are fishing at night make sure to use a glow light to charge the jigs. Tip the middle treble with a waxy or a minnow head. Hold the spoon and always put the bait on the back side of the spoon in the middle.

Most things I threw caught fish. The biggest came on a Craw Tube off the deep weedline. Also got fish off pads, reeds, docks, wood, steep banks, and on flats. It is a fun lake with a good population of largemouth.

Caught numbers on a ned rig but bigger fish were caught on the football jig. Main bait was the Strike King Ned Ocho in morning dawn and it also produced this bonus 26" walleye.

Tons of surfacing bluegills and minnows around the whole lake, deep structure can produce some fish but the bigger fish were producing on shallow docks.

Cast over the beds and vary your retrieve and it will drive the bass crazy and hang on when they hit. Tie a 5 foot piece of mono to the braid. Have fun and good Luck!

We found a spot right between the public marina and the small island. 15 feet deep and we caught about 10 largemouth in a matter of an hour or so. a couple were 3-4 lbs. leader length was about 12-15 inches.
