It is shallow with a lot of grass in summer. Best fished in spring and fall. Holds bass, crappie, bluegill and bream. Best summer fishing is with top water or floating worms over the grass.

With warm weather here, bass have been moving in. Throwing a 3/16 is chartreuse & green spinner bait near the bank with a slow retrieve. Also catching crappie on a 1/8 oz John Deere green Beatle spin.
