TechniqueTexas Rigs (Worming)SeasonSummerStructurePointsLight Texas rig fishing the main lake points. Look for deep water close and throw into the grass edge or any wood laydowns. Also target the steep main lake banks. They wanted the fast transitions. If you find them don't go far away, let the spot reload. Chatterbaits were working along the wood as well for some.

TechniqueNeko RigsSeasonFallStructureLaydownsWe fished the morning with reaction baits and had two strikes . After lunch we switched to finesse baits . The water temp was 81 degrees, blue bird skies, one foot visibility and a slight ripple on the water. I fished with a Lews speed stick with 2000 spinning reel lined with 15 lb power pro super slick to vanish fluoro leader. A #2 Neko hook with a shad neo bait my partner fished with a shakey head rigged wacky style on power pro super slick 2 to 8 lb fluoro. We had to literally fish the bank near lay downs no bites three ft from the bank

TechniqueWacky RigsSeasonFallStructureLaydownsFish are shallow, very shallow. Flip laydowns all day long for a few select bites. There are plenty of laydowns to cover so keep at it. Tried to find fish deeper but they were reluctant to bite anything.
