Went out with the primary focus skipping docks with Neko rigs for bass, took my wife out with me to enjoy the fun. Most productive docks were with deep water very close or the ends of the docks were in 10ft of water or deeper. Also Docks that had floating docks attached to a hard structure were most productive. The most productive docks also had plenty of bluegill activity around them as well. Green Pumpkin color was the best, tried a few others just to see if it made a difference but Green Pumpkin in the Baton was by far the best. My wife was using a straight sinko to start and I changed the bait to the Baton and she had better action. In total caught 9, boated 8, the 9th came off while trying to swing in the boat. Best 5 were 10.14lbs with a 3.03lb Kicker. Was a good day on a very hot day as well.

Started out the morning fishing some main lake points and dock, caught two Largemouth on the Shakey head with the Probe worm very early in the day. One was out deeper at the end of the dock and the other was close to the rocks at the front of the dock. Lost another fish in between throwing a swimjig. Moved into a usually productive cove up the lake a bit, saw lots of shad breaking and small bass chasing. Switched to Baton Worm rigged Neko style and started skipping under docks. One dock produced a 3.44lb and a 2.28lb largemouth. Another dock in the cove produced a 2.48lb largmouth. Another dock produced a 14in smallmouth. as well plus happen to catch one on a popping style bait when I was able to catch up to the bass chasing bait, that was about 13in long. My best 5 for the day were 81.25inches long for 11.19lbs. Boat traffic started to get heavier so made boat control tougher. Very happy for the day I had.
