Was catching bass off docks and laydowns on wind blown points and bays. Had to flip the laydowns 3 to 4 times to get bites but got 2 to 3 fish off each laydown. Using a Stealth Feider jig with a Berkley Chigger Craw Trailer, or a Strike King Rag Craw Green Pumpkin with a number 4 VMC ring hook with a 3/8 Woo Tungsten Flipping weight.

Jigging or slip bobber fishing in many areas of the lake are good for crappie and bluegill fishing. Fountain lake has many opportunities for shore fishing spots, so don’t be discouraged if you don’t have a boat.
