Early in the season I fish the northwest side of the lake, it’s shallow and has water flowing in from the marsh. Still a bit early and cold for the spawn. Only caught one small bass on the chatterbait. Should get better as it warms up. The bite really is dictated on the weather it seems. More tight lip of its cold and feed for the spawn as it gets warm.
