I prefer tip ups but you could throw the rig on a rod and that would be fine. They’re really aggressive and plentiful so cover as much ice as possible. Also may try a spoon.

Walleye were hitting well on the Fox River around rock piles using medium diving crankbaits. The Rapala Shad Rap in silver matched the minnow forage perfectly and got consistent bites in 8–10 feet of water. Action was best early and late in the day with a steady retrieve and occasional pause. And an occasional bite on bright green crank baits.

The bass had a late night bite on top water frogs especially the scum frog with paddle tail feet m. Skipping up under docks really seemed to work as they would blow up on it right under the docks.
