Caught most of the fish on a 1/2oz chatterbait evo, and a couple on a 2.75in rage swimmer on a 3/16oz head. Had to find milfoil in 5-10fow, otherwise we weren’t catching. Fun day!

I waited until the jig hit the bottom and then hopped/swimmed it along until I felt the bite.

Found some submerged vegetation near some docks. I hopped the Baby D Bomb and would let it sit for a little bit. I saw my line jump and set the hook. VERY fun fight! 🤙🎣

Only found them on one hump that had a few weeds on it. Also shallow channel had lots of largemouth with one pod of crappies in it. Caught a meal (5 ) average around 10 inches. Also 1 largemouth caught and released there. Went back to main lake hump with the few weeds that I seen crappies on caught 3 between 13 &3/4 and 14 1/8. Also lost about 13 inch Smallmouth on second jump due to whimpy hook set with ultralite St Croix. My error, not rod. Tight lines Tom
