The water is high with all of the recent rains and I believe it’s helping the shallow bite. Get out in the morning or night on a wind blown bank! You’ll catch em!

Short outing this morning but we caught them on a few different techniques. Whopper Plopper 75 baby loon, Chatterbait, and spinner baits. They were munching before the rain showed up. We also caught a few on whacky rigged senkos. We found most of the fish stacked up by shallow water flowing water. It was a fun morning. Getting my girlfriend out to catch her first ever bass and pike was great!
