Can find fish within the 4-10 foot range. Key things for this day is keeping the bait moving and just above the weeds. The biggest of the day was 4.71 pounds. Came out of 4 foot of water. The big ones seemed to be shallow but the numbers came out deeper.

Fishing was tough today. I found some fish around the cribs that someone dropped out there but colder water temps and lack of grass made it tough to locate fish. The fish I caught came out of 13 foot of water tight to the wood. Long pauses on the jerk bait was key today. Hopefully water pops over 50 soon!

This is a very shallow and weedy lake, especially around the edges. It is also a smaller lake but healthy. Earlier in the day, I had a good amount of action on topwater over shallow weeds. My grandpa fished the edge of the weeds with a soft swimbait and landed a huge 5 pounder. I also caught several on weed edges on a wacky-rigged senko.

Did not catch many fish tonight before the storm but got this nice one shortly before having to leave! I was fishing the frog over open water weeds and she couldn’t resist! The swamp lord is quickly becoming my favorite frog. Greta hook up ratio and great walking motion.
