WalleyeTechniqueDamiki RigSeasonSpring (Spawn)StructureHumpsI was fishing humps, high spots, hard spots, anything different I could find in deeper water. I was using Livescope, but could not see them until I casted out and they shot up off the bottom. I cannot stress how glued to the bottom they were. Lesson of the day: Just because you don’t see them on ‘scope doesn’t mean they aren’t there!

CrappieTechniqueCrappie Sniping (Casting/Single Poling)SeasonFallStructureBrush PilesI was bass fishing and then panned over to a couple brushpiles that were just offshore and noticed it was LOADED with crappie. Nothing huge (8-9”), but if you sorted through them there were bigger ones in the schools. Ended up catching ~20 in less than an hour. Very fun day with Livescope looking like a darn Christmas tree!

CrappieTechniqueCrappie Sniping (Casting/Single Poling)SeasonFallStructureBrush PilesI found the crappie again suspended around brush piles near the basin. They were still in shallow enough water (12’-15’) where I could get them and not have to wait forever for my jig to get to them which was good. Fun day overall!
