Water was around 72 degrees. Fish seemed pretty well wrapped up with the spawn. Started the early morning with dragging a DT-10 out on the sand bar with no luck. Moved to shore had a few blow ups on the frog. Then I switched to a chatterbait on the weed edge with a kamakzee trailer and was off to the races. Sadly I didn’t put a wire leader on and a northern snatched it. (Not a place for jackhammers. Lots of toothy creatures in this lake.)
