Still able to find some big schools of pre-spawn largemouth in the middle reefs of the lake. The wind and current seems to be what is positioning these fish as they moved around throughout the day according to the wind direction. Most of or fish came on an aggressively worked jerkbait, but we were also able to slow down and pick up additional fish with a tube once the school was found. - Ben Nelson

Look for bedding smallmouth around protected areas of the lake. Any decent sized flat with sand/gravel and scattered boulders were the most productive. Look for the largest fish to make their beds right next to the biggest boulders in the area! Ned Rigs have been the most effective. - Ben Nelson
