Marked a bunch of beds using FFS and visually using a raised platform. Had a flogger handy for the deeper bed. Grab you favorite ned head and a finess TRD. I used the coppertreuse but if you have trouble seeing pink also caught a bunch. Have a drop shot on deck, some fish wanted them higher and some would only go on the bed itself. But I really was a one rod day!! Biggest 5 were just under 19lbs.

The drop shot was very effective on bedding smallmouth…casting the dropshot behind the bed and letting it drop over the bed and shaking it incited many bites.
