Today was his first time targeting smallmouth, and conditions were just right. We missed a few bites early on, but once he got the hang of it, things came together nicely. Between the tubes and the drop shot, he managed to land a few solid smallies! We fished a variety of depths, anywhere from 17 to 40 feet, and found success across the board. Green Lake continues to be a fun and productive spot, and today was no exception. Overall, it was a great day on the water. The clients went home happy, and that’s what it’s all about.

The smallies were chasing minnows and we decided to launch Ned rigs at them as we saw them surface. We focused on ledges and my two and half year old son caught this nice Smallie. It was a great day.
