Follow the shad. Green river is chock full of baitfish. The bait fish start to move to main lake flats in 3-10ft of water as well as backs of the pockets. Cover water until you start seeing baitfish. The baitfish are small, so a small shallow diving crank bait is the perfect tool. Main lake flats are prime targets. If you find yourself around too many baitfish and the bass won’t eat a lure, try a bright color to make your lure stand out
