The bite was pretty slow and only caught a couple of crappie on a hover rig until before late afternoon. As soon as 6pm hit the bass moved in and started hitting. I caught several in the 12" - 14" range and lost one that was probably bigger.

Started fishing in the late afternoon. I only had a couple interested before 7:30p. Once the sun started going down the bite turned on. I caught several fish off the docks near the grass lines.

Look for bass to be making beds within the next week or two especially if weather pattern holds out.

This trip was an evening kayak fishing trip. Launched at 5p and came back in at 8p. Caught several 1-2 lb bass on top water frog.
