Not a whole lot of size but managed to get one really good one and a few other solids. Caught fishing doing a bit of everything from punching to throwing a chatterbait and a wacky worm on docks and a little bit of scoping. Not a great day but not terrible for the fall transition. Guntersville is such a fun place to bass fish!

Temps are cooling for fall. Bass are starting to scatter. When you find one stick around there is another. Fish 8-10 feet of water submerged grass. The Tennessee River is a tough nut to crack during the Fall, the grass has came to the surface and matted up and the bait has swarmed to the shallows. And once the grass has topped out and formed a canopy, you can't go wrong with locking that big weight in your hand and covering miles of main river grass lines flipping away in search of that massive TVA school of largemouth bass!

Flipping matted vegetation all day everyday of the tournament produced a check. Heavier weight was key to not only trigger a bite, but also cover more water.
