Mid October, fishing rock walls and rip rap with current can be great with a jerkbait. I like the megabass vision 110 in Mat Shad on cloudy days and pro blue on sunny days. If fish are less active a shakey head jig with a finesse worm can be great.

Fish were in the typical pre spawn mode feeding up before the spawn funneling threw ditches following the bait fish concentrated in water 3 to 5ft deep. They were not to aggressive so some times u had to make multiple cast by a stump. I stayed on the lower end of the lake.
