The fish were shallow off main river in shallow grass caught them using a motion fishing swim jig 3/8 ounce in color white.

Fish were in the typical pre spawn mode feeding up before the spawn funneling threw ditches following the bait fish concentrated in water 3 to 5ft deep. They were not to aggressive so some times u had to make multiple cast by a stump. I stayed on the lower end of the lake.

Had to make long casts and parallel the rip rap. The fish seemed to beee in really spooky. Almost every bite came at the very end of the cast.
