TechniqueTexas Rigs (Worming)SeasonSpring (Post-Spawn)StructureLaydownsWater clarity was low and temps were in the lower 80s. Had the most success with a big worm thrown around laydowns next to deep water. Texas rigged creature baits thrown to overhangs also worked.

TechniqueShakey HeadsSeasonSpring (Pre-Spawn)StructureRip RapCaught a ton of tiny smallmouth right on the bank. Nothing big. Partner caught a few on a wacky rig.

TechniqueWacky RigsSeasonSpring (Post-Spawn)StructureDocksA lot of the fish were caught pitching docks with wacky rigs or jigs. Black and blue worked the best for how stained the water was. The farther up river you got, the clearer and colder the water got.

TechniqueNed RigsSeasonSpring (Pre-Spawn)StructureRip RapIf you find yourself struggling on Lake Delhi then be sure to tie on a Ned Rig. It doesn't seem to matter what time of the year it is, this bait will catch some fish for you. It works the best around rocky shorelines or rock piles in deeper water. Just drag it along the bottom and occasionally let it sit. Depending on you location you'll be able to catch largemouth, smallmouth, crappie, bluegill, rock bass and even some nice walleye. Green Pumpkin always seems to work.

TechniqueTexas Rigs (Pitch/Flip)SeasonSummerStructureRip RapWent out for a few hours with my son and caught a few on a tube dipped in orange die. Nothing crazy big but had a good time!

TechniqueNed RigsSeasonSummerStructureRip RapIf you got your Ned Rig within a foot of the bank and hopped it on the rocks you were going to get bit. Had to be patient and work it slow to get those extra bites. The OutKast Perfect Ned has the toughest paint I've used on a Ned Rig hook. Caught almost 20 fish on one hook and it's still sharp and no chips.
