WalleyeTechniqueSoft Body Swimbaits (Small/Medium)SeasonSpring (Post-Spawn)StructureDamFishing is hot with the flows being high! Need some weight to get down to bottom and a sensitive rod to know when you hit. Fish are biting close to shore. However with the cast-ability of Spiderwire durabraid, bombing a 3/8oz neon moon eye into some slack water in the middle is easy and effortless. The one bait that has been the most consistent is the powerbait bonefish in midnight shine. With the shade cast from the froth and foam the walleye take all the advantage and strike at good silhouettes. But throwing out a Z man 3” Minnowz in The Deal pattern with a 3/8oz blue back herring neon moon eye or parrot northland tackle tungsten in 3/8oz was doing well for fish earlier in the evening.
