The SPRO flappin frog was putting in some work around the lake edges and areas of matted hydrilla. Working it with a stop-start cadence and pausing for 5+ seconds every now and then worked well along with a straight retrieve. Later in the day the burner worm was working great in deeper water along weed edges. Also worked well in a few shallow sandy bottom areas near blue gill and tilapia nests. Tight lines and stay hydrated!

Brett’s bluegill jack hammer with bluegill color spunk shad from hog farmer bait was the deal for some good bites. The croc o gator swamp swimmer in black with blue fleck was the plastic of choice, paired with 3/16 tungsten from epic baits.
