Caught a ton fishing the pads with a swim jig. Multiple bluegill colors worked best. They would inhale it! 7’3” MHF with high speed reel and 40lb braid. When I ran through all the pads, id back off the bank and drag around a super finesse texas rig with a 1/8oz unpegged weight, 3/0 worm hook, and a net bait T mac worm. It’s a money rig there, and if anyone sees this report, I use it everywhere to get bit. Sometimes I even go with a 3-4” worm. Sleeper rig I think. 7’0 MXF spinning rod, 10lb braid to 10lb fluoro leader. If anyone sees this and is around this area, make a trip here. Catch a lot of 2lbers, but theres some big ones in there. I’ve caught em. Good times! Fish on!
