Largemouth BassTechniqueTexas Rigs (Pitch/Flip)SeasonSpring (Spawn)StructureStumpsThis kayak tournament was tough for me due to only catching 3 fish the whole day and only submitting 2 of the 3. One of which jumped off the board. All but one came off flipping a Missile baits D Bomb in Black Red flake and Brusier flash. I had to fish around the entire cypress tree to get the few bites I got through out the day. A must is the new Shimano Mastiff FC. I was using 18lb test and it was doing wonders with the abrasion resistance and low stretch allowed me to fish the heaviest cover without going to braid. Hope this helps out for your next trip.
