When it was bright skies and flat, the ticket was flipping brushpiles - shallow and deep. A mix of baits worked, but Zoom Mag UV Speed Craw and Xzone Adrenaline Craw were the better baits. 3/8 and 1/2 oz tungsten weight depending on depth. 15lb Invizx Fluorocarbon. Bass also chasing shad - Strike King Redeye Shad and KVD Splash worked.

Much better 2nd day in the tourney. Switched up sides of the lake and focused on the nastiest parts of the brushpiles. Landed 4, but had a lot of bites. The Zoom Mag UV craw seemed to get their attention better than other baits. Largest one of the day came off a deeper rockpile. Ended up 6th for a little improvement from day 1. Snagged a bonus walleye off a point with a jackhammer.
