Water temps were higher than usual for this time of year and we still managed to find a couple on beds! The bass would turn away from EVERYTHING except the Berkley Gilly. as soon as we threw this in via dropshotting, they keyed in on it RIGHT AWAY and would just suck it in. the Trokar TK137 was KEY in keeping them pinned with such light line. we rigged the gilly with the hook going through nose and then out the side (NOT the top like a swimbait).

Tough day overall. Lost a couple fish flipping that would have helped in the tournament. Managed to salvage a middle of the road finish with a solid 18” largie off the windblown edge off of a large weed patch.
