I caught a steady stream of decent bass all day, all over the lake! Fished the same Whopper Plopper for 4 hours. The bass were eager biters! Caught at least 20 fish, missed more. Lost a couple bigger ones...they're in there!

Warm temps and light winds helped warm the shallows a bit. Sought out shallow, weedy areas and looked for signs of any bait fish life. Found a few largemouth pushing shallow in less than 2 ft of water. Fish were super spooky so long casts with light, floating lures were useful to make quality casts to specific targets. Great time of year to twitch floating Rapalas!
