TechniqueSpinnerbaitsSeasonSummerStructureLaydownsWater was murky following heavy rain. Most of the fish I caught were from running a spinnerbait through laydowns and flooded brush. The spinnerbait got me the numbers but caught some of my larger fish dragging a 1/2 football jig in the same areas as well as docks.

TechniqueMedium Diving Crankbaits (7'-12')SeasonSummerStructureLaydownsWater is warm and the fish were active. Kept the trolling motor moving and just cast to the bank. Most were caught 3 to 8 feet with a fairly fast retrieve. Later in the morning as the sun got higher the bite slowed down but was still able to catch some quality fish by hopping or dragging a structure jig in shaded areas and heavy cover. Lay downs, flooded brush, docks, and rip rap all held fish.
