Shad spawn is on. I was throwing a small Squarebill white with black back and the Striper and hybrids wet hungry this morning. About 4:45 this morning at cooks recreation at boat ramp they were popping about 30 minutes. This one fought like a 5 pounder but weighed 3. 3/4 lbs. lot of fun. I caught a couple of 1 1/2 pounds and a good 2lb.
